Why Should I Read This Blog? With so many other Cubs blogs out there, what will be different about this one?
MiserableCubsFan.com will be devoted to offering our take on the current state of the Cubs in an effort to get an entertainingly knowledgeable discussion going. MCF.com will post audio and video clips of Cubs players, management, and fans to stoke the fires and get you to respond and leave comments. MCF will also review and give away all the Cubs books and memorabelia that we come across in an effort to show our appreciation for your attention to this web site. This web site was established about a week after the sudden collapse of the 2008 Chicago Cubs season in the NLDS.

Who Is The Miserable Cubs Fan & How Long Have You Been A Cubs Fan?
I am a Chicago native who can't get the Cubs out my system. I've been a Cubs fan since the early 1980s when I used to spend a few weeks each summer with my grandparents, watching the Cubs on WGN. The meltdown in 1984 forever etched me to the Cub (as Harry called them) and I have devoutly followed their fumbled attempts at winning a World Series ever since. By the way, I previously moderated a Cubs blog in 1997 (back when the Internet sucked) with an endeavor entitled The Miserable Cubs Fan Forum.
